Background on me: I went to a Barnes and Noble in August 2013, I found a kit called Crochet Cuties, I bought the kit and I discovered I really enjoy crocheting.  There are some crochet books I love, and magazines too.  Its fun to learn from your mistakes, because in the end you can feel satisfied that you did something for yourself.

I really enjoyed teaching at Michael's however due to some major changes I decided to teach privately.  I am happy to teach in a group as well.


What crochet items do I like to use?

First there is a magazine that I love its Simply Crochet.  This magazine is created in the UK, but the articles and patterns are worth it.  

Books: Hardcover book Crochet, The complete step by step guide from DK publishing.  I find the pictures and instructions valuable.

The new Encylopedia of Crochet Techniques by Jan Eaton.

Crochet 101: Is a step by step learning. This book will show you where the errors are coming from.  Perhaps you forgot to include a turning chain, which will make your project uneven.

Hooks: I am in love with Tulip hooks, the handles make it easier to crochet.
